Rajiv Ratan Gandhi

I had ordered a special cake for an occasion which misplaced and reached me yesterday evening it was birth  anniversary eve our late PM Sri Rajeev Ratan Gandhi. Suddenly memories refreshed.

Rajeev had been an unfortunate person  he passed his youth as son of separated disturbed couple, passing away of Pandit ji turmoiled Indira's political career, disturbed educational career. In job in IAC he was singled out as PM's son. He faced emergency aftermath while he was miles away from politics. Brother's tragic death in air crash changed his course of life; he had to leave the job & join politics at stance of mother's wish to carry on the family legacy. 

Then mother's untimely assassination brought to the threshold national leadership. From day one he came in clutches of caucus. Delhi roit in name his mother's assassination, defence scam, Srilankan foreign policy, Punjab & Northeast deal all went against him.Ultimately he was thrown out of power. 

Finally when he was staging a comeback because of incompetence governance in centre he was assassinated by old tamil rebels. 

He was never allowed to work with his own manner with his wisdom. He atleast brought IT revolution in country which now become base of Nation's development along with. many more reforms in his short tenure. After decades Modi ji has encashed it for his development schemes. 

After Pundit ji whose election meetings I had attended twice one in 1984 at Sitapur another at Moradabad in 1989.

Today is the day to remember this great personality and pay our sincere tributes.

शहादत

कल देश की महान नेता एवं पूर्व प्रधान मंत्री श्रीमती इन्दिरा गांधी की बरसी थी। पूरे दिन सरकार सरदार जी को पुनर्जीवित कर याद करती रही तथा मीडिया सरकार के गुणगान में जुटा रहा। जब दूरदर्शन चैनल लगाए तो शक्तिस्थल प्रर्थना  के स्थान पर केवड़िया गृह पुलिस परेड का कवरेज आ रहा धा। क्या इस महान नेता के बलिदान को राष्ट्र भुला चुका है।

आज भी वह दिन याद है जब इस राष्ट्रवादी की, पृथकवादी आन्तरिक आतंकवादी तत्त्वों ने, निर्मम हत्या कर दी थी। पूरा देश गहन शोक में धा कितने इस आघात को सहन नहीं कर पाए। कई दिनों तक पूरा विश्व शोक संतप्त रहा। पूरा देश और मोदी जी सहित एक पूरी जेनरेशन इंदिरा जी द्वारा किए गए राष्ट्र व्यापी कार्यो, एवं विभिन्न परिस्थितियों में कुशल राष्ट्र नेतृत्व लिए अनुग्रहीत है। उन्होंन राष्ट्र हित में अपने प्राणों की आहूति दी। सरदार साहब स्वयं एक महान स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी,राष्ट्र भक तथा एकीकृत भारत के जनक थे।

राजनीतिक प्रतिद्वंदता वश, उन्हे बीच में ला कर, इंदिरा जी के योगदान को गौण करना स्वार्थ सिद्ध करना सर्वथा अनुचित है। इतिहास परिवर्तन, नाम परिवर्तन, तथ्य तोड़ मरोड़, वर्तमान तंत्र की संस्कृति का हिस्सा बन चुके हैं।ये राष्ट्र के भविष्य के लिए अत्यंत घातक है।

Nationalization vs Monetization Pipeline

The country was liberated in 1947. It was the time when when country started marching towards national development under leadership of Pandit ji who himself a great visionary. He straight away went for high level industrialization at National level. Due to British India time hypocrisy National  industries were in hands of few rich private owners. There washuge unemployment. Partition roots, foreign aggressions/ wars and internal disputes left country in very bad shape after death of Pandit ji.

 After Indo Pak war of 1965  and death of PM Shashtri ji, Indira ji took over. She also followed  socialistic pattern of her predecessors but with wider scope of  faster economic growth. Indira ji straight away went for  bank nationalization, privy purse abolishiion and so on. It resulted in creation of lot many Gov't owned public sectors by center & states. It also resulted in sudden boom in industrial and economic growth,  development and employment. It's immediate gain was felt all over. One full generation enjoyed the benefit of the policy. Aristocratic airlines turned a public Undertaking while chief national natural resources like steel, coal and rail resources started turning productive. It saved import exchequer and extra expenditure. 

However with time and this policy started failing because of national character & weak Gov't at center. With need of time policy of de nationalization, de monetization, monetization were introduced to cover inflation and to creat more avenues of revenue exchequer to the Gov't. It is as per  present need of time, when world is fighting with the pandemic. 

At first instance it appears painful but when we think at national level it is good for the nation. Huge sick nationalized Gov't sector units a liability on Gov't needed to be shutdown or denationlized for the purpose of national economy. To maintain industrial growth employment balance and economy pipeline monetization through selling such sectors or introducing PPP is best pipeline policy. Whatever policy introduced by any Gov't is prepared by set of renowned economics & financial experts after

 thorough study  it is for Gov't to frame a policy to on basis of such researches. 

For nationalization policy started failing due to weak Gov't at center and increasing corruption in Gov't and change of political scenario at National & international level concepts of economy. 

But this is also a temporary measure. Nationalization was long term plan monetization is temporary measure of its failure to stabilize economy it can not continue for ever. For development Gov't has other schemes in various sectors like agriculture, industry, public services, IT, communications etc. Main question is whether we should go for for communism or capitalism  but socialism is best path adopted after liberation of the nation. 

Hindu Hindustan

Britishers have left the country in shattered ugly state in to caste, religious and regional divides. It was a deliberate act of vengeance to weaken the earlier Imperialistic state of British India. The sub Continent was transformed into a burning pyre whose heat has not yet subsided. Still evil forces are active for further disintegration of the nations of the Sub Continent. India needs, to maintain it's integrity, to become a world super power.

At this stage when whole sub Continent under threat of terrorist attack .Terrorism is also aimed against Hindustan, Hindus. Maintenaning status quo of minority community, why can't we declare ourselves a strong Hindu nation. Merging all religions, regions, and political outfits of soil into one we can call ourselves a Hindu nation. When a small country like Nepal why we can't. Vote bank politics is main bottleneck. But issue is above political party line . It is right time to take appropriate steps with nation concensus. Save the nation for security and development .

South Sojourn Drift

I was posted in southern belt of UP. It was extreme hot 🔥late evening of June 1998 at आगरा, we were preparing to go to bed 🛌after whole day toil. Suddenly door bell rang. We found our younger son Amrit on gate amidst on going B.Sc (Hons) final exams. For time being we were taken aback apprehending some mishappening during exams. But moments later he informed that he has been selected for PGDST courses by NCST ( a Gov't Institution now CDAC ). He was among 3 DU  students finally selected. It turned to be great moment of excitement. Question was which Centre he should join; we wanted him to join at Mumbai but he found his future in Silicon Valley of India at Bengaluru. Finally we agreed. Time was too short for preparation and we had to send him far distant place for studies according to those days. I immediately made my mind to accompany him and rush up. I applied for LTC & leave encashment for the Bengaluru trip. Incidentally my immediate superior, a computer savvy, and Computer  cell incharge were close to me and both supported our decision of future building. In no time all arrangements were done. We got wait listed reservation for the destination in AC- II. However reservations was confirmed hours before commencement of journey through Railway board quota. Whole evening prior to journey went in 40hrs train journey preparations. We commenced the journey as per schedule. 

We arrived at Bengaluru and remained here for about 2 weeks. My son adjusted in that period at Bengaluru and we enjoyed LTC.

It was 19.06.1998 first dawn at Bengaluru work anniversary of Amrit. We thought we are deciding future of our son, but father in heaven was deciding our destiny. Now we are settled in Bengaluru post retirement for over 10 years.

आज से ठीक 46 साल पहले HAPPY BIRTHDAY

 In Year 1975 I traveled from Asansol to Faizabad to celebrate my 2nd holi of service life & married life at my home sweet home. I was on 2 day leave including travel time as it was peak production time in Coalfields. My superior has granted leave on pathetic grounds as my expecting wife was also at Faizabad. We family 👪 celebrated holi with full fun & flora with all siblings at home. 

Next morning 🌄 I was to leave for Asansol and I was preparing for that.I next morning I woke up on wife's call. She was under labor pains I immediately jumped out of bed and contacted my parents and dad went to call nursing doctor for delivery.

After a while we had a child cry and ringing bell heralded arrival of a male chil instantly father & son had first hand shake as both had turned father. After a while my grandfather arrived and had a gun salute to his great grand son. It was moment of great pleasure for the family. I extended my leave for 1 day with post de'factto sanction of the Boss.

It was most colorful holy of our life.

Rewinding moments

कल श्री शिव प्रकाश मिश्र की हीरक जन्म दिन का आमंत्रण मिला तो 15 वर्ष पुरानी यादें ताजा हो गईं जब उनकी सेवा निवृत्ति पर विदाई दिवस लखनऊ में संपन्न हुई थी. साथ ही सीतापुर यादे भी पुनर्जीवित हो गईं. मिश्र जी प्रत्येक सप्ताहांत में सीतापुर आते थे पार्टियों का दौर चलता था. सीतापुर के बंगले की वादियों. लखनऊ व अनेक निकट संबंधी नियमित रूप से सप्ताहांत में सीतापुर आते थे.कभी-कभी अकेले में बैठ कर बंगले की प्राकृतिक छटा अलग ही आनंद..बाद के कुछ वर्षों में अवकाश न मिलने एवं कार्य सीमित हो जाने के कारण समय ही समय था. कई सामाजिक उत्सव  खेल समारोह इत्यादि भी खूब होते थे. 

ईश्वर कृपा से अधिकारी भी अनुकूल और कृपालु हो गए. जीवन में एक असीम आनंद की अनुभूति होती थी जिसे केवल ये दिल ही महसूस कर सकता था. ऐसा समय दैव योग से मिलता है. 

आमंत्रण मिलते ही क़दम ख़ुद बा खुद यादें ताजा करने चल पड़े. मेरे लिए कल की शाम का एक अलग ही महत्व है साथ में के सी.डे. के रसगुल्ले ने एक और याद जोड़ दी हम लोगों का वैवाहिक जीवन 47 वर्ष पूर्व ऑफ जॉय से शुरू हुआ था इस व्यंजन ने जीवन में बहुत रस घोल दिया. 

कल की शाम के लिए मिस्र जी का बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद व भविष्य के लिए बहुत  बहुत शुभकामनाएं.
